Intense aromatics of dark fruits, black cherry and spice. It is a beautifully bold wine with silky tannins and flavours of blackberries and blackcurrant which make it super food friendly and very moreish! The Baudare Estate has been in the Vigouroux family since the 1820s. It is now owned by David Vigouroux and his wife, Claire. David is widely regarded as the best winemaker in the Fronton region , his wines are beautifully made and fantastic value for money. A champion of the indigenous Negrette grape, David uses this as the basis for his red and rosé wines. Fronton is a much under-rated appellation.
